Domus Municipalis

Bragança
Description
Unique (and still enigmatic) monument of Romanesque civil architecture; An eloquent architectural example of the late medieval period, to be added to the Keep. (The designation of "Domus Municipalis" appears only in the twentieth century). Its construction probably dates from the first third of 1400 (as evidenced by a doc of 1501), and may have coincided with that of the castle.
