Fortified Settlement of Cossourado

Description
Located in a region rich in archaeological monuments, the fortified settlement of Cossourado occupies a total of 10 hectares. This extremely old settlement is a relevant site of the Castro culture in the Alto Minho region.
The excavations carried out have revealed several types of archaeological traces, proof the extremely well-organised social and economic settlement. Recently, in addition to the restoration of the buildings, two huts were also repaired recreating the houses of the settlement.
