Classified monument since 1982, the granite's boulder known as "Pedra do Cavalinho", that means "horse's stone", is located roughly five meters of the support wall of the churchyard Chapel Stº Ovídio, on the hill of the same name. We are therefore in the presence of a rock engraving of zoomorphic motif, consisting of an equine isolated insert the type of group I, known as Old or Classic. Chronologically framed between the Chalcolithic and Bronze Age, the petroglyph schematically shows a horse and rider, probably obtained with a firing pin stone or metal.
