The richness and the variety of the religious architectural heritage of Monção are unquestionable. Visit the Sanctuary “Nossa Senhora dos Milagres”, a mannerist chapel located in Ermida, in front of which we can admire the Stone Cross “Nosso Senhor dos Aflitos”. This interesting Sanctuary was ordered to be built in the end of the XVI century, as a result of the accomplishment of a promise, by Francisco Pereira de Castro, the Master of Sopegal Farm.
Outside, it is worth looking at the façade with a sculpturesque decoration in classic style.
