With a view over the river Douro and S. Leonardo Galafura, the Chapel of S. Domingos, situated 809 meters high, consecrates the place where once there was a “castrejo” village.
The access is made by a road that connects Provesende with the Chapel. From here it is possible to contemplate the magnificent views over the Douro Valley and the surrounding mountains, from where the terraced vineyards extend.
