It is also one of the last representative buildings of the traditional architecture of rural bourgeoisie of the Douro region, is located in the municipality de Tabuaço, on the southern slope of the Douro River facing Pinhão.

Casa Cimeira was built in 1814, when the vineyards in Quinta da Corte and Quinta do Panascal were planted, and was expanded in 1831. Originally, the house had a rectangular plan and three floors.

This tourist facility offers 6 comfortable double rooms with private bathroom and is set in the Douro landscape. Around the courtyard connecting to the warehouse / winepress / cellar, the building has a porch used for breakfast or dinner in the warm summer evenings, an indoor lounge with a fireplace and table games, and another lounge for children.

Outside the wine-cellar there is a swimming-pool overlooking the Douro, supported by schist walls and lined with two cherry-trees for shade or for tasting the fresh seasonal fruit.
